Compstall Reservoir can offer the angler a wide range of fish. Over the last few years it has become predominately a Carp Water but still holds some specimen Bream and Roach.
The water holds Carp up to 23lb, Bream up to 10lb and Roach up to 1lb. The back water which is situated on the middle path has plenty of Bream and Perch which is ideal for Jigging (please note we do not allow spinning on this water)
On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am till 4pm the Model Boat Club can sail their yachts up to the 1st buoys inline with the cog. If there were anglers on the Causeway up to the 4th/5th peg then the model boaters can use the riverside up to the buoy to the left of the green hut.

Poynton Pool is a great Carp Water for the specimen angler . The Carp sizes range from approximately 14lb up to 25lb . Poynton Pool can be a challenging water to fish but once you know how it fishes it is a nice lake to fish
The club has plans in place for updating the water in the near future.

Woodbank Park Pool is situated within the park its self . It is a nice little water that has a good head of Tench, Crucian Carp, Perch, Roach, Common Carp and Mirror Carp.

Newhouse Farm is our own water, which has had a lot of work done over recent months . This consisted of new fencing on the car park, clearing and tidying of the bushes, put wood chippings on the pathways . This was all done during work parties over a few weekends .
The water has also been recently re stocked with over 1000 fish . This consisted of Roach, Skimmer Bream, Tench, Crucian Carp, Rudd and Chub.
